An International Falls city councillor is frustrated by the conditions of some properties in the city.
Leon Ditsch cited several examples along the Highway 53 corridor during last week’s city council meeting/
“I look at this and say as a city why are we not taking care of this. And I have talked to many people and nothing’s being done,” says Ditsch.
“We have a lot of businesses are doing fine. They’re taking care of their property but we have a lot that just turn their head and it seems like we’re turning our head also.”
City Administrator Ken Anderson says there is a protocol that is followed and time is allocated to owners cited.
