The town of Fort Frances is seizing control of certain assets on the mill property now owned by Riversedge Developments.
Notices against a number company connected to Riveredge indicates all personal property is being seized were posted on the gates yesterday.
The notices are because more than $489-thousand in taxes are owed.
The move comes after reports certain pieces of heavy equipment were recently removed from the property.
Mayor June Caul would not say how far back the outstanding tax bill dates but indicates the town sought legal advice before the postings.
This morning, the notices appear to have been removed.
