You can now submit an idea on how to improve your community.
The fall Tbaytel for Good Community Fund campaign is underway. Anyone can submit a project, idea, event or initiative that is aimed at improving community well-being and pride.
Communication and Brand Manager Agnes Notarbartolo says “It could be an event that they are looking to host. It could be a need, if it’s a school, they need some materials for their classroom. It really can be anything.”
She says past winners include submissions from a range of sectors including education, sports and recreation, youth, the environment, technology and innovation and health and wellness.
Notabartolo stresses the highlight of the campaign is that you get to select the best project.
“It allows people to tell us what they want us to support. And that’s really a great thing because it shows that we are listening to them and we value their input and that we’re really making a difference in what they believe in.”
The deadline for submissions is October 11 and the winners will be announced on November 18.
Six successful applicants at the end of the campaign will receive either $500, $1,500 or $5,000.
