Fire has caused damage to the Rainy River Cattlemen’s Association’s sales barn in Stratton.
The Association reports two covered pen areas were lost in yesterday’s blaze but credits the actions of the Stratton Fire Department from preventing the flames from spreading to the main barn.
No cattle were on site at the time.
A sale is planned for this week.
Officials are now looking at how they’ll be able to continue.
