International Falls Broncos football team’s season has come to a close.
After having their home game cancelled due to weather, it was later moved to Mountain Iron where the Broncos fell to Mesabi East 26-20.
The Broncos varsity girls swim team finished last among four teams at a meet in Virginia.
Havyn Pelland was a winner in the 100-yard butterfly and was third in the 200-yard free.
Elly Nelson was second in the 100-free.
The Broncos relay teams were third in the 200-yard medley and 400-free.
Today, Fort Frances Muskies court teams are in action against the Dryden Eagles.
Atikokan Voyageurs court teams are hosting Kenora’s Thomas Aquinas Saints in NorWOSSSA A division play.
In Thunder Bay, cross country runners from Fort Frances and Atikokan High Schools are competing at the NWOSSA championships with berths to the provincial championships on the line.
Meantime, Fort Frances Muskies football team will close out their regular season with a make-up game this afternoon in Winnipeg against Maples.
A win clinches second place in the Winnipeg High School Football League’s division three.

The varsity girls volleyball team plays against Mesabi East in Aurora to open the Section 7AA tournament.
