Trunk or Treat will be replaced this year with a Drive Thru Halloween event.
While exact attendance figures aren’t known, it is estimated close to one thousand children attended last Thursday’s Trunk or Treat at the Fort Frances Public Library.
Organizers also received $2-thousand in sponsorship to help toward the treats give away.
One donation from an unnamed individual was for one thousand dollars.
Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry on display at Trunk or Treat
A display by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry was also identified as the Best in Show by the judges.

Best Organization: Evelyn Martin School Bus
Best Individual: Pirate Sisters
Brightest: Alberton Volunteer Fire Department
Most Original- Gold Star Candy Land
