Fort Frances Muskies boys hockey team dropped two of three exhibitions games against the Thunder Bay Kings under-16 team, losing 4-2 yesterday at the 52 Canadian Rink.

Fort Frances Muskies girls hockey team were beaten 4-0 in the semi-finals of a tournament in Thunder Bay hosted by Confederation College.
The team had gone 3-1 in pool play, beating St. Thomas Aquinas Saints of Kenora 4-1, Thunder Bay Queens midget A team 4-nothing and Confederation Colleges 4-3 before a 6-1 loss to Manitoba Northern Stars on Saturday.
Ellayna Kabel, Abbie Kenny, Tatum Glowasky, and Jill Calder scored in the game against the Saints.
Issy Taylor with a pair, Kenny and Raelle Redford scored against the Queens.
Taylor again with two, Kathryn Fisher and Tatum Glowasky scored in the game against Confederation College.
Taylor also had the lone goal in the loss to Manitoba.
Fort Frances Lakers dropped a pair of games to the Thunder Bay North Stars on the weekend, losing 5-1 Friday and 4-1 Saturday.

No medals for members of the Fort Frances Muskies cross country running teams in Sudbury at the all-Ontario provincial championship.
One runner came very close. Trent Wilson finished fifth in the novice boys 4K, just seven seconds back of a podium finish.
