Fort William First Nation is teaming up with six other communities to help develop a new power line across the region.
They are forming a company together with Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation, and Eagle Lake, Lac La Croix, Seine River, Lac Seul, and Nigigoonsiminikaaning (RedGut) First Nations.
The company has not announced a name yet.
It will work with Hydro One in the development of the Waasigan Transmission Line from Thunder Bay to Dryden.
