ONTC will be providing bus service to northwestern Ontario next week.
A previously announced route between White River and Thunder Bay will begin Sunday three times each week.
The next day, buses will run from Thunder Bay to Winnipeg twice a week, serving all communities along the Trans Canada Highway.
Northern Development Minister Greg Rickford says he’s hoping to expand the service to the Rainy River district, Red Lake and Sioux Lookout sometime in the future.
The Rainy River district has been without bus service since Kasper Transportation decided to suspend service at the end of last month.
