OPP have a tentative target date for their move to a new detachment in Fort Frances.
Police could be relocating from the Civic Centre by October 7.
Detachment Commander Inspector Nathan Schmidt says there will be a couple of months to accommodate set up and testing of equipment before officers and staff make the move.
The current detachment is expected to be taken over by the Fort Frances jail.
