The MP for Thunder Bay-Rainy River is applauding the work of the Rainy River Future Development Corporation.
Marcus Powlowski spoke from Ottawa about the agency during the RRFDC’s virtual general meeting Wednesday night.
“I think you’re a very on the ball group over there advocating for business. You certainly seem to know a lot about the business needs of your community, so I do kind of rely on your input a bit,” Polowski told those listening online. “I certainly welcome having an ongoing relationship with the Futures Corporation. I think you are doing a really good job you’re doing a really essential job.”
It was the first time in several years that an MP had attended a RRFDC meeting.
