The new year has just started, but local school boards want to know what the next school year should look like.
Two school calendars are up for review.
One would start school on August 30th, with two PD days and the first day of school on September 1st.
The final day of school would be on June 24th.
The second option would have the first day of school a week later of September 8th and the school year would go to the final week of June of 2022 with the last day of school falling on June 30th.
You are asked to fill out a short survey to give your preference and will be online until January 22nd.
The survey is on all school board websites including the Rainy River District School Board, the Northwest Catholic School Board, the Kenora Catholic School Board, the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board and Conseil scolaire de district Catholique des Aurores boréales.
