If you have lived here in the Borderland for the last few years, then you probably already know just how talented Cassandra Star Armstrong and her older sister Callahan Armstrong are.
They have been performing around our area at local events for many years and have been one of our best kept secrets…but now that secret is out in a big way and we are sharing them with the rest of the world.
Just in time for the holiday, Cassandra and Callahan have released a cover version of Leonard Cohen’s classic “Hallelujah” with special Easter themed lyrics that have been written by composer Kelley Mooney.
This song was expertly recorded and produced by the incredibly talented Maverick Judson. Maverick is from right here in the Borderland and he is a very successful artist in his own right.
Pianist Jeff Buckley lends his musical talents to this song as well. It is now available on various online music platforms.
Cassandra and Callahan created the video for this cover themselves….with a little help from their family and friends I’d guess.
