Work on a new sidewalk in the west end of Fort Frances is underway.
It’s going along the south side of Colonization Road West between Biddeson Avenue and Riverview Cemetery.
Operations and Facilities manager Travis Rob says temporary traffic lights are in place to improve worker safety.
Rob says the lights are removed daily when work crews finish for the day.
It’s costing the town about $168 thousand to put in the sidewalk.
Recent government funding will cover that cost.
