A convoy of truckers protesting vaccine mandates has arrived in northwestern Ontario.
They reached Kenora last night.
They were greeted by some residents who held up signs in support of the Freedom Convoy’s cause.
In a Twitter post, the city says it in no way has any affiliation with the convoy, and consent was not given for use of municipal property for any of their events.

The trucks parked at the Kenora Rec Centre overnight.
The truckers are making their way to Ottawa and expect to reach there on the weekend.
OPP are reminding motorists using the Trans Canada Highway to expect delays as the convoy makes its way to Thunder Bay today
“As specific delays become known, the OPP will forward information to media outlets for broadcast as well as on its own social media channels and the OPP thanks everyone for their patience in dealing with the traffic delays,” says Constable Brittany Bembeneck.
Bembeneck says the OPP’s Provincial Liaison team has been speaking with organizers to ensure public safety is met.
To date, there have been no incidents reported since the group organizers earlier this week on the west coast.
