The LGBTQ2S+ community and its allies will march today as part of Pride Month celebrations in Fort Frances.
The walk will start at the Fort Frances Public Library and Technology Centre and head down Scott Street toward Rainy Lake Square.
Flooding along the waterfront forced organizers to change the route.
Participants are asked to meet at the library at 11:15 a.m. for a chance to win prizes, take photos, and get in the Pride spirit.
The march will begin around 12:30 p.m., arriving at the Rainy Lake Square at 1 p.m. for the performance by the internationally acclaimed CHOIR! CHOIR! CHOIR!.
The last two walks were cross-border events with participants starting in International Falls, crossing the International Bridge and ending at the Square.
That was bypassed for this year because of requirements in place to cross the border resulting from the ongoing pandemic.
