Some history at Quest for the Best this year.
For the first time since moving to a sing-off to determine a winner, two male singers reached the final.
Jaycob Ryll emerged as the winner over Adrian Indian after the judges and the spectators selected them first in their respective sets.
“I think both of us just had that energy going into that final, and I think it made for a really fun competition between the two of us because we really got that crowd into it and we really kind of played off each other there,” says Ryll.
Despite finishing runner-up, Indian was still happy with his performance, especially to earn the People’s Choice award in his set.
“Well, it meant a lot to me. I was really shocked, actually. Like there’s a lot of great performers out there, and we’re just giving it our all. I was just so pleased and happy that I got something there,” says Indian.
A total of 21 performers took part.
