A Fort Frances woman is the latest winner of Riverside Foundation for Health Care’s monthly 50/50 cash draws.
Ethel Lowey takes home just over $12,055 in the September draw.
Lowey was also a recent winner of an early bird prize in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre’s Foundation draw.
She says it’s the only two raffles she supports because the money is put to good use.
Lowey is not certain how she will use her winnings.
The Foundation also gave away three $250 early bird draws as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.
The winners are Harvey Menagarie of Pinewood, Brian Gillon of Fort Frances and Barb Duguay of Fort Frances.
Tickets are now available for October’s draw with a $500 early bird prize up for grabs.
Tickets can be obtained online at www.riverside5050.ca or by calling the Foundation Office at 274-4803 to arrange for offline sales.
All proceeds are being put towards the purchase of two monitors to be used in the OR department.
