A new council for the township of Emo will include just one incumbent councillor.
Harrold Boven managed to hang on to his seat on council in the election held Monday night.
He will join Phil Whatley, Gerald Wieringa and Lisa Teeple around the new council table.
Whatley was the top vote-getter.
The only other incumbent in the running was Lori-Ann Shortreed. She was seventh in voting.
Harrold McQuaker was acclaimed as mayor.
