
Three people have been arrested following a drug bust at a home in Fort Frances.
Police executed a search warrant at a Portage Avenue home to find quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine, and fentanyl.
Canadian currency, brass knuckles, conductive energy weapons, bear spray and a baton were also seized.
A 29-year-old and a 30-year-old from Fort Frances and a 34-year-old from Alberton were arrested.
The two people from Fort Frances face the following charges:
- Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Unauthorized Possession of Weapon- three counts
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order – three counts
The person Alberton was charged with two counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine.
All three remain in custody pending an upcoming court appearance.
