Doug Klein is a big fan of the Friday the 13th slasher horror films. The main character is a hockey mask-wearing villain named Jason Voorhees.
Doug is also a scuba diver.
Ten years ago, he decided to create a life-sized Jason statue and sink it deep in the waters of a man-made lake in Crosby Minnesota, which only a 3 hour drive from us here in the Borderland!
A decade later and Jason is still down there! He’s become a destination! Divers from far and wide have paid him a visit.
But be warned…
Jason rests at a depth of 112 feet, which means only an advanced open-water diver would be able to access him.
