Construction of a new roundabout on Highway 53 is scheduled to begin this summer.
It is to be located just south of International Falls at the intersection of County Road 332.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation has the project on its list to begin June 5th and end November 1st.
The cost of the project is listed at $3.5 million.
It could be slow going if you are planning to travel to Duluth this summer.
MnDot says there will also be resurfacing of Highway 53 in the Virginia area planned.
The $4.8 million project is expected to start in early July and continue through until the fall.
The projects are among the nearly 200 taking place this summer across the state.
