Drug trafficking charges have been laid against two people from Couchiching First Nation.
They were among seven people arrested Wednesday after Treaty Three Police and OPP executed a search warrant at a home in the community.
Their arrests came as the result of a month-long investigation into the sale of illegal drugs in Couchiching and the surrounding area.
Police say a large amount of cocaine, methamphetamine, and crack cocaine were discovered with Canadian cash and items associated with trafficking.
Only a 35-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man were charged.
They, along with the others, have since been released from custody.
The two persons charged have been placed on several conditions and are back in court in August.
