The District of Rainy River Services Board (DRRSB) is rewarding four area students with $500 each.
The money is part of a bursary program aimed at students considering a career in fields within the Services Board.
This year’s winners are Jade Bellluz and Lilly Jourdain from Fort Frances High School, Matteo Ferreira from Northern Lakes K-12 School in Atikokan and Gianna Perreault-King at Rainy River High School.
Belluz is pursuing a career as an Early Childhood Educator.
Jourdain is looking at a career as a Social Worker.
Ferreira will further his education toward a career in Information Technology and Perrault-King looks to become a Primary Care Paramedic.
“We would like to wish these graduates all the best as they embark on their post-secondary education journey,” says Charene Gillies, Chief Administrative Officer for the DRRSB.
“With their exceptional achievements and dedication, we have every confidence that they will make significant contributions in their chosen fields.”
