The Northwest Catholic District School Board has hired a new Superintendent of Business.
Alex McAuley starts his position in August.
He was recently with Ontario Health as its Performance, Accountability and Funding Allocation Lead.
Before that, he spent almost ten years as the Chief Financial Officer for Dryden Regional Health Centre and Red Lake’s Margaret Couchenour Memorial Hospital.
“I am honoured and excited to join the Northwest Catholic District School Board as Superintendent of Business,” states McAuley in a release.
“This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the education sector, an area I am deeply passionate about, in the community and region of my childhood.”
McAuley replaces Laura Mills who retired from the board earlier this year.
She joined the Catholic board in August 2021 after working for 22 years with the Rainy River District School Board in a similar role.
