Provincial Police continue to look into the discovery of a shotgun inside a stolen vehicle.
The vehicle was taken from a home in Atikokan at around 6:30 Hallowe’en morning.
OPP came across the vehicle abandoned on Highway 622 near the Highway 17 intersection, west of Ignace.
The gun was a Winchester 1200 model 12-gauge with duct tape on the buttstock.
Police are still looking for the suspect involved in the vehicle’s theft.
They are also reaching out to the public for any information regarding the suspect or firearm.
