We could see a lot of snow this weekend.
Weather officials on both sides of the border are tracking a system building over the central Plains that is expected to reach the Borderland region as early as Saturday evening.
Some areas could see in excess of 25 centimetres of snow by the time the system moves out of the area Monday afternoon
It could also come with freezing rain.
