A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at LaVerendrye Hospital in Fort Frances.
This is after a patient tested positive for the virus.
Riverside Health Care says it is now taking additional precautions to measures already in place.
Testing of staff is already being done twice a week, and is now extending to all inpatients.
Visits are also being restricted. Visits are only permitted for patients in palliative care, obstetrics and pediatrics, as well as those critically ill or in the emergency room.
