At least three members of the Ford cabinet are expected to visit Fort Frances later this month.
A draft agenda for this year’s Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association annual meeting indicates Housing Minister Steve Clark, Solicitor General Sylvia Jones and Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry Minister Greg Rickford will attend the gathering of the region’s municipal leaders.
All three will take part in the traditional Ministers’ forum on the final day.
Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Labour, Training and Skills Development, Deepak Anand, is also expected to join them.
NDP leader Andrea Horwath is also slated to attend. She’s pencilled in for the gathering’s first day.
Fort Frances is playing host to the NOMA for the first time since 2014.
The meeting will take place at the Fort Frances Curling Club from April 27-29.
