The Rainy River District is now under another rainfall warning.
Environment Canada says we can expect two more rounds of showers and thunderstorms over the next twenty-four hours.
The first will begin tonight, tapering off tomorrow morning.
The second will happen Thursday night into Friday morning.
Up to 50 millimetres of rain could fall in an already drenched Borderland region.
The National Weather Service out of Duluth has issued a flooding warning for all areas on the Minnesota side of the Rainy Lake basin.
The warning will remain in effect until June 1.
It says the lake levels of Rainy and Namakan Lakes could rise as much as 33 cm, or 13 in., over the next eight to ten days.
The Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry has a similar warning for the Rainy River District that is in place until Friday but will likely be extended.
