Enbridge is asking homeowners to help clear snow from their gas meters and exhaust outlets.
The gas company says snow can have an impact on the meters ability to control the pressure of gas going into the home.
Blocked exhaust vents can also led to a dangerous build up of carbon monoxide inside.
Enbridge recommends using a car brush or broom carefully to move snow off.
Avoid using a sharp instrument as it can cause damage.
