Traffic lights to be commissioned on Tuesday

New traffic lights on King’s Highway in Fort Frances should be working soon.

The town and the Fort Frances Power Corporation will be working with contractors on Tuesday to commission the lights at the Lillie Avenue intersection.

Motorists should expect a closure of traffic lanes and functioning signals as the work takes place throughout the day.

The lights were installed to make it easier and safer for people to cross to the new splash park.

An official opening of the splash park will take place in the spring.
