A mining exploration company working in the Nestor Falls area reports strong gold finds.
Alberta-based Golden Rapture Mining says it is identified in samples from its Phillips Township property.
A total of 22 samples were tested.
“I am extremely pleased that we have just made rapid steps toward identifying additional high-grade drill-ready targets,” states Richard Rivet, Chief Executive Officer of Golden Rapture.
It says it will use the results in the planning of future drilling programs to better determine the extent of ore bodies.
“A small diamond drill program has also commenced at our Combined Mine area and results will be announced when completed. The ultimate plan would be to drill the Young’s Bay Occurrence later this year once more funds are raised or by the help of the right JV Joint Venture) partner.”
The company calls the area a hidden treasure chest.
The area contains 18 mine shafts from working operations as far back as the late 1800s.
