Fort Frances may no longer be Boundless.
Town Administration is suggesting the town replace the promotional tagline it has been using for the past ten years.
The phrase was included as part of a branding exercise that also introduced a new logo.
The town spent upwards of $50,000 on an outside consulting firm to help design the logo and slogan.
A recent survey found many residents not liking the phrase, suggesting it does not resonate with the community.
Administration is now asking town council to consider a process that offers some alternative slogans.
“With larger projects requiring branding moving forward, and a push on economic development, now is the opportune time for town council to consider what’s in the town’s best interest in moving forward,” the administration report states.
The issue comes to council on Monday.
