Work continues to progress on a CN rail bridge in Fort Frances.
CN crews have completed temporary repairs to the bridge.
“Train traffic resumed at reduced speed (on), September 9th around 11:30 a.m.,” said CN in a release.
The bridge partially collapsed on August 14.
They added that crews remain on site and ask that residents avoid the area as work is still ongoing.
The Five Mile Bridge is an important rail line for CP serving as the route between Fort Frances and the Port of Thunder Bay.
The bridge crosses over Rainy Lake.
