The strike by members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers is not expected to hinder Santa Claus from receiving letters from children who live in the Rainy River District.
Postal workers are still continuing their long-standing work with the Jolly One.
They tell 93.1 The Border that a postal box has been set up outside the post office in Fort Frances to collect letters and forward them to Santa.
They say all letters with return addresses can expect a reply.
