A collision with a fire hydrant has landed a Fort Frances man in court.
Provincial Police were called to the area of Williams Avenue and Fifth Street East around 12:30 a.m. last Friday regarding a vehicle that came into collision with a hydrant.
Testing later revealed the driver to be impaired.
The 33-year-old was also found to be violating a court-ordered curfew.
He was scheduled to appear in court on Monday for a bail hearing.
The man did have his driver’s licence suspended automatically for 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for seven.
