Most of the party leaders were back on the campaign trail a day after Monday’s televised leaders debate.
NDP leader Marit Stiles spent her day in the Toronto area.
She says she remains focused on electing NDP members in ridings now held by the PCs.
“I’m in it to flip blue seats to orange. I want to win,” says Stiles.
“And the path to winning is to defeat Conservatives all across this province. And we are the only party that can do that.”
Liberal leader Bonnie Crombie campaigned in Hamilton, appealing to the NDP vote.
“I’m asking everyone to come together, especially those who may have voted NDP in the past, to vote for Ontario’s Liberals to change the government,” says Crombie.
The Delta Air Lines crash at Toronto Pearson kept Doug Ford’s plane grounded.
It forced Ford to cancel planned visits to Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury.
The weather kept Green Party leader Mike Schreiner from visiting the Owen Sound area, turning it into a virtual one instead.
