The season has ended for the Fort Frances Muskies hockey teams.
The boys and girls teams wrapped up round-robin play on Wednesday morning at the all-Ontario high school hockey championships in Sudbury.
The boys picked up a 5-3 win over East Northumberland from Brighton in their final game of the tournament to finish with a record of one win and two losses.
Jackson Tucker and Drake Bonar gave the Muskies a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes.
The Blue Dragon cut the lead to one early in the second before Callum McCormick restored the Muskies’ two-goal bulge just under three minutes later.
Trent Friesen would score the eventual game-winner midway through the third.
After giving up another goal to their opponents, the Muskies restored their three-goal advantage with a goal from Ashton Armstrong.
East Northumberland rounded out the scoring with a goal with 24 seconds remaining.
The girls ended their tournament with a 6-4 loss to the Simcoe Sabres.
The Muskies fell behind early and trailed 4-1 after 20 minutes.
Marlee Bliss scored the lone marker for Fort Frances, an unassisted marker with six minutes remaining in the period.
The Muskies gave up another goal early in the second.
They fought back with three goals in the final four minutes.
Sienna Tom, on the powerplay, and Bliss, with her second of the game, brought Fort Frances to within two.
The Sabres restored their three-goal lead three minutes later before Ella Evans replied for the Muskies with under one minute to play.
Neither team found the net in the final period.
