Improvements are coming to some rail crossings on CN’s rail’s southern line.
The federal government is providing over $788-thousand towards the upgrades at five crossings.
The crossing on Queen Street in Emo will see new gates and warning system.
New gates, warning system and a device that provides additional warnings to pedestrians and vehicles about an approaching train will go at the Highway 623 crossing just south of Sapawe.
Improvements to crossings in Kakabeka Falls, Rosslyn and Highway 11 near Shebandowan are also planned.
