It’s the Best Christmas Pagaent Ever.
That’s the name of a new play from Fort Frances Little Theatre.
It’s a comedy about a group of children who become involved a church Christmas play.
Originaly written as a book in 1971, it was first adapted for the stage play a decade later.
It later become a made-for-tv movie in 1983 starring Loretta Swit.
Little Theatre spokesperson Christine Denby says for the local theatre group, it ensembles one the largest casts ever for them.
Close to 25 people are involved including 17 young people.
The play runs tomorrow to Sunday, 7 pm each night, at Knox United Church.
