The director of Economic and Community Development for International Falls has issued a short statement to council regarding its decision to eliminate her position and funding to the department.
In an email, Shawn Mason says she’s disappointed by the decision, but will give her 110 per cent to the job until it ends at the end of October.
Mason adds that it’s been honor and privilege to serve the city.
