A major up-grade is being planned for one of Ontario Power Generating Station’s largest power plants.
O-P-G says it will spend $60-million to reburbish the Sir Adam Beck Pump Generation Station at Niagara Falls.
The plant first opened in 1921 with a second being added in 1954 with reservoirs capable of holding 20 billion litres of water, or the equivalent of 8 thousand Olympic sized swimming pools.
