Indigenous Affairs Minister Carolyn Bennett says a $1.8 billion plan to improve drinking water quality and infrastructure remains on track.
About 18 communities, some on boil water advisories for several years, have been able to remove that warning.
Seventy-one communities are still having to boil their water, including Big Grassy and Lac La Croix First Nations.
