The Canadian Union of Postal Workers is launching a constitutional challenge against the federal government and the legislation that forced an end to rotating strikes last month.
The challenge was filed in Ontario Superior Court Tuesday morning.
CUPW National President Mike Palecek says the law violates their right to free collective bargaining under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
The move comes as a new mediator is assigned to resolve the labour dispute.
