Our MP is on a blind date tonight.
Don Rusnak will be featured in the TVO Program ‘Political Blind Date’ where two opposing political figures visit each other’s ridings and discuss their views impacting their areas.
Rusnak teamed up with NDP MP Romeo Saganash from northern Quebec for the taping done last May.
“We filmed a day and a bit in the Fort Frances and in the west of the riding. I thought it was great. I spent two days and two nights in his riding in northern Quebec. I think it was a great experience,” says Rusnak.
Executive Producer Mark Johnston says the two will touch upon Indigenous issues impacting their ridings.
It’s really a great episode and an important one and I hope everyone tunes in,” says Johnston.
