Canadian Cancer Society is hoping to raise over $20,000 across the region through this month’s Daffodil Days fundraiser.
Regional manager Maria Cabrel says the money raised in the northwest goes to help local cancer patients by providing them with a variety of programs.
“Wheels of Hope program, the wigs and turbans program that’s offered for free, our patient navigator program that helps patients get out of Thunder Bay for service and supports.”
Donation boxes full of plastic, yellow, daffodil pins can be found in various locations around the region.
