Tanner Williamson of Fort Frances took advantage by racing at Ogilvie Raceway where he failed to finish the main feature Friday.
He was 7th in the B-feature the next night.

Rainy River Voyageurs men’s baseball team remains perfect in the MCAC’s northern division following a weekend sweep of Vermilion.
The men won 11-1 and 10-0 yesterday following wins of 6-3 and 16-12 on Saturday.
The Voyageurs are now 8-0 against northern division opponents.
The Voyageurs women’s softball team was awarded a pair of games against Hibbing by forfeit yesterday.
Saturday, they split games with Itasca, losing the opener 10-1 but bouncing back for a 10-5 win in the second.
At Falls High School, the Broncos girls golf team won another event, this one on Friday in Eveleth.
Maggie Roeder led the team with a round of 43 to finish second overall in the individual standings.
The boys golf team finished 12th overall at the Grand Slam Invitational held at Eagle Ridge in Coloraine.
On the diamonds, the boys baseball team dropped a doubleheader Friday to St. Paul Highland Park on Friday, losing 9-7 and 1-0.
The girls softball team won two of three played at an Iron Range Conference tournament.
They first lost to Grand Rapids 5-2 before earning a 15-1 win over Mesabi East and a 17-2 decision against Chisholm.
