The Competition Bureau says it has found nothing wrong with how gasoline prices are set in northwestern Ontario.
The Bureau says it spoke to 50 difference station owners in Fort Frances, Thunder Bay, Kenora and Dryden and found no evidence of anti-competitive agreements among them.
Kenora Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford asked for the probe at the start of the year after prices failed to drop when the carbon tax program was cancelled.
Kenora MP Bob Nault made similar inquiries.
In its release, the Bureau makes mention of how prices are set or why they fluctuate.
