Mental health services in the Rainy River district are among those receiving funding announced last week by the provincial government.
Over four-million dollars has been earmarked for agencies and programs across northwestern Ontario.
In the district, the Canadian Mental Health Association in Fort Frances is receiving over $17-thousand to use toward housing initiatives.
The local agency will also share in an additional $144-thousand awarded to the C-M-H-A for housing in Kenora, Fort Frances and Thunder Bay.
Firefly is receiving $85-thousand for children and youth mental health services.
